Art deco interior design is characterized by bold geometry and decadent detail work. Art deco decoration includes exuberant shapes, sculptural elements, and a rich color palette. Having reached the height of its popularity in the 1920s, '30s, and '40s, the style still brings in glamor, luxury, and order with symmetrical designs in exuberant shapes. Think bright and deep yellows, reds, blues, greens, pinks, and purples, accompanied by softer creams and beiges to soften up your art deco look.
Our Frida doors in charcoal on two small double Besta units mounted on the wall elevated this side storage unit by adding clean geometric structure. We fell in love with this blue curved sofa from RoveConcepts and Throw pillows from Perigold to match. Nesting tables from IKEA on a Geometric rug from Overstock looks sophisticated yet added life to this living space. Candle sticks from HM Home added a bit of extra glam.
